Ducati unveils 2016 bike line-up


Ducati has unveiled its entire bike line-up for 2016 at the EICMA show running in full force at Milan including a comparatively affordable Scrambler 400 model that should be a hit in India!

 

Ducati, the Bolognese bike giant has launched a total of 9 new motorcycles for 2016 at the EICMA show in Milan. These were showcased at the Ducati World Premiere where much of the motorcycling industry is concentrated on revealing the latest scooters and motorcycles. These models are ready to be unleashed onto roads across the globe.

 

Ducati has now experimented with a new color even though it has always been synonymous with red. The yellow color now adorns its Scrambler brand along with red. Ducati has added two new Scramblers to the lineup which should interest Indian biking connoisseurs immensely. The Scrambler Flat Track Pro will be a sporty addition to the range and comes with a Termignoni exhaust system and lowered handlebars. Additionally, Ducati has brought in a potential high seller for India, a smaller 400cc, two valve per cylinder, V twin engine Sixty2 which is named after the year when Ducati brought in their first ever Scrambler bike.

 

The Italian behemoth has also unveiled an all terrain Multistrada 1200 Enduro Tourer for 2016 which comes with an 1199cc Desmodromic Variable Timing equipped engine dishing out 13.9 kgm of torque. The bike comes with several riding aids and high technology features including the Vehicle Hold Control. There are modes like Enduro, Touring, Urban and Sport that you can choose from. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 has also been unveiled and is basically a revamped version of the famous Pikes Peak tourer from Ducati. This bike will come with a variable valve timing equipped 1199cc engine in addition to adjustable Ohlins suspension, lower visor and Termignoni exhaust.
