Jump Out Of Bed

Waking up early is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself. If you’re supposed to report to work at 10am, wake up between 5am and 8am. That gives you enough time to collect your thoughts before rushing out into the outside world, where chaos robs you of your sanity. Getting up early also lets you get out of zombie mode a lot sooner.

Get a yoga mat, lay it out on the floor, and practice some light stretching. Muscles become stiff after staying in one position for too long, and releasing the tension can jolt you awake. It might be a little difficult to get used to, but once you do, you’ll feel ecstatic. Your blood will stop crawling at a glacial pace and pump itself through every artery till your body is supercharged for the day. It’ll help you deal with work in the right mindset.

Take a cold shower and eat a hearty breakfast. Showering with chilled water is the best way to awaken your senses and feel alive. You’ll feel refreshed and rejuvenated, and the water will wash away the dizziness you normally experience in the mornings.
