The TVS Star City+ has been a huge success since its launch in 2014. In celebration of its first anniversary, TVS Motor Company announced the launch of its special new TVS Star City+ Gold Edition for 2015. The Gold Edition will be available with new features that will enhance and add to the features found on its current model. Along with the new colour scheme the executive-class bike gets exciting features such as tubeless tyres and a USB charger. TVS Motor Company president and CEO, K N Radhakrishnan said that the new TVS Star City+ Gold Edition builds on the superiority of its present version and endorses their commitment to introduce exciting products for their customers through continuous product innovation. He also added that they are confident that this special Gold Edition Star City+ will also be a huge success with its customers.

The 2015 TVS Star City+ Gold Edition sports a white body colour with vibrant gold graphics, unique gold coloured mag wheels, a gold coloured three dimensional Star City+ logo on the side fairing and a ‘Bike of the Year’ endorsement accompanying a gold brand logo on the wind-shield. The seats get contrasting dual texture treatment with offset red stitching that goes along with the overall look of the bike.

TVS StarCity+ spec and colour options

The new TVS Star City+ Gold Edition bike will have the same tried and tested Eco-Thrust 109.7 cc engine which generates a maximum power of 8.3 Ps and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm. The engine has already proved to be an ideal combination of smooth reliable performance and provides a claimed fuel efficiency of 85 kmpl. The bike is suspended by telescopic front forks at the front and five way adjustable rear shock absorbers which guarantee a smooth and comfortable ride on any road surface.

The muscular and chiselled “Flow Motion Styling” along with the new Gold Edition colour scheme gives the TVS Star City+ a distinct road presence. The bike is priced at INR 48,934 ex-showroom Delhi and is nearly INR 5,000 more than the current model with electric self-starter.

With Hero also launching its new Splendor Pro on the same day, the new TVS Star City+ will see a tough competition from its biggest rival for the coming year. The new Gold Edition Star City+ might find more customers attracted by the new exciting features it has to offer against its competition.
