Renault will be showcasing the Duster face lift for Indian markets at the Auto Expo in 2016. This car will have styling tweaks and touches inspired from its Brazilian counterpart. The headlight clusters will be completely new while daytime running lights will also be integrated into the car. The rear and front bumpers will sport new designs and the same goes for the alloy wheel patterns. While these are some major exterior changes, the interiors of the vehicle will receive a brand new console at the centre. This will have piano black finishing in addition to brand new fabrics for seats.

The biggest change on this car will be the automated manual transmission or AMT system. This will come with the diesel variant which dishes out 110 PS. The vehicle will be competing with the Mahindra Scorpio AT and Hyundai Creta AT which use typical 6 speed torque-converter gearboxes. The new Duster will also have the K9K 1.5 litre diesel engine option with 85 and 110 PS tunes respectively. There will be 5 and 6 speed manual transmission options for these engine versions respectively. 2WD and 4WD options will also be available with the new model.
