Ford will be launching the Mustang in India . Mustang is an iconic car which will make its entry into India for the first time in 2016. The Mustang GT Premium Fastback version will be made available in the Indian car market.
The Mustang GT Premium Fastback will sport with a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine that will produce 435bhp of power and will come mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Ford will be introducing this muscle car in UK and other right-hand drive markets, including India.
The Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback is available with voice-activated Navigation System includes a free five-year subscription to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link which combines Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with 3-D mapping and provides voice-guided turn-by-turn directions.
With Sirius XM Traffic and Travel Link34, one gets detailed traffic information, plus current and forecast weather, gas station locations and prices, sports scores and schedules, and theater locations with movie listings and times. Premium RECARO leather-trimmed sport seats are race-inspired and deliver excellent support and comfort, even in strong lateral gs. The Mustang also comes with Ecoboost Premium, which has a 2.3-litre petrol engine. This might not make it to India as at the moment, the plans are to get the GT Premium Fastback.
The Mustang will be brought to India as a CBU and will be priced at about INR 70 lakhs (on-road). The Mustang will be the first muscle car that will be officially launched in India. Ford will be adding aspirational value to its brand with the Mustang.
