Ford has produced its first ever vehicle at its own plant in Nigeria and this is a path breaking development that has certainly impacted the global automobile industry.
Ford has recently caused quite a stir in the global automotive industry by rolling out its first ever vehicle at the plant it has setup in Nigeria. The facility will be accommodating a single shift and will be producing around 10 units every day for the Nigerian market at present. The facility will lead to the creation of approximately 180 direct and indirect jobs in the location.
Ford is immensely optimistic about this new Nigerian plant and this has been reiterated by the sub-Sahara chief executive at Ford, Jeff Nemeth as well.
