Harley Davidson has announced Dark-Custom updates for its Iron 883, Forty-Eight, and Street 750 models, and also the re-launch of its Road King tourer.
The updated iron 883 gets an all new front-suspension, an adjustable suspension at the rear, lighter alloy wheels and a reworked seating. The new Street 750 gets new front and rear brake-systems. The Forty-Eight gets new alloy wheels, larger 49mm forks front end, and a new adjustable rear suspension and seating.
The 2016 Heritage Softail Classic also gets cosmetic styling updates.
All Softail motorcycles – the Fat Boy, Heritage Softail Classic, and Breakout, get updated engines in the form of Harley Davidson’s High Output Twin Cam 103 engines, earlier available only on the touring motorcycles.
Also, the 2016 lineup of Sportster models will get new front and rear suspension and improved seating.
Harley Davidson has had a good year, despite there being a slump in two-wheeler sales in 2015, having maintained a clear lead in the big-capacity(500-800cc) segment. With an updated line-up, Harley Davidson intends to maintain, if not extend its lead over its rivals in the segment.
