The car gets revised styling and more equipment.
The German automaker has announced that it will be launching the facelifted Vento in the Indian market on June 23. The facelift is the car’s second within a one year period and is aimed at keeping the car fresh in the market.
Externally, the changes include a new grille, a new bumper and horizontal fog lamps with integrated cornering lights and the bumper is slightly modified, as are the tail-lamps. Also, chrome touches have been added on the door handles and boot.
Inside, the upholstery is of a lighter colour and the top trim gets the addition of cruise control, a cooled glovebox, and powered wing mirrors.
The car retains its engines from the older model with the 1.2 TSI petrol, 1.6 petrol and 1.5 diesel engines carrying on in the same state of tune. Transmission options continue to include include a five-speed manual and the seven-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic gearbox.
Dealers are currently accepting bookings for the new car with booking amounts somewhere between Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000.
