Mercedes had a super successful Formula 1 season where the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team successfully won both the constructors’ and drivers’ championships. Mercedes-AMG recently unveiled a special A45 model for commemorating this feat. This special edition vehicle gets similar green and black highlights like the W06 hybrid car used for racing. The front splitter is bigger and there is a spoiler at the rear.

The car possesses the AMG Exclusive package and AMG Dynamic Plus Package. Additionally, there are electronically adjustable AMG Performance seats made of leather while the standard Night package is also available. There is a performance steering wheel in addition to petrol green stitching on the dashboard, air vent rings and armrests. The same 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder petrol engine is used for this vehicle and this dishes out 375 BHP and 48.52 kgm of torque. The 4Matic all wheel drive system is another major feature of this vehicle along with the seven speed dual clutch gearbox that has been optimized for offering quicker shifting. The model can touch the 100 kilometres per hour mark in 4.2 seconds.

Customers can order diverse paintwork for the car including the Designo Mountain Grey Magno, Polar Silver Metallic and Mountain Grey Metallic. There are standard 19 inch cross spoke titanium grey wheels used on the vehicle with standard petrol green rim flanges. The special edition A45 will be showcased at the weekend’s Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina.
