Car will be available in diesel and petrol variants; get CVT transmission option
Honda will be launching the new Jazz on July 8 with the Japanese automaker already releasing teaser videos in a build-up to the launch. The car was expected to be launched in March this year however; due to production issues the event was delayed.
In India, the new hatchback will be offered with the choice of a 1.2-litre petrol engine from its smaller Brio sibling and the 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Mobilio MPV and City sedan. The car will also be offered with the choice of a manual or CVT gearbox.
The new Jazz is expected to be feature rich with features such as Bluetooth and touchscreen infotainment system expected to be offered on the car. The car is also expected to be priced aggressively with Honda localizing majority of its parts.
