The CBSE Board had conducted examinations for Class 10 and 12 students in March-April, 2017. There has been huge buzz centering on the declaration of the results. However, on official announcement has been made yet by the Board on its website with regard to the results. Board officials have also confirmed that the dates for result declaration have not been finalized yet.
Unlike 2016, the Board will announce the result a little late this year. Students can expect the same however within the first week of June 2017. The admission procedures for higher education courses are expected to commence within mid-June itself. Students should thus focus more on their results towards end May or the first week of June, 2017. The Human Resources Development (HRD) Ministry has reportedly directed all school boards to declare class 12 results as fast as possible in order to ensure easier calculations for IIT-JEE rankings.
Students are worried about the no moderation policy which has been adopted by the Board in 2017. Requests have been generated for making this move applicable from the next academic year and there is palpable discontentment amongst students and faculty members alike. With the adoption of this policy, there is a high chance in a dip of the cut off score at leading colleges and universities.
The Board will declare the results at the cbse.nic.in official website and students can also check other updates at results.gov.in, results.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
